- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I had a microdiscectomy in May and needed physiotherapy to help recovery. My first visit to Simon was in September and from that first visit I have begun to get my day to day life back. I was still having difficulty walking and was desperate to get back to swimming. With the exercises he has given me I am now back to walking my hour a day and most of all back to swimming which I love. I am now back to swimming a mile a week which I was doing before sciatica got so painful that I was on mega doses of pain killers and completely house bound and unable to drive. Life as I knew it had come to a grinding halt. Had the operation which got rid of the intense pain but the physio has put me back on track and living my life again.
