- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Contacted Harley Medical Group in 2012 to request removal of my PIP implants which I purchased in 2006 when I learnt I was part of the international scandal involving 50,000 women and current litigation in France involving 20,000. They were filled with silicone meant for mattresses. My request was declined. James Farquharson, Harley Medical Groups Chief Executive Officer, has confirmed the following on 5th October 2017 "The Harley Medical Group (THMG) is a different legal entity to The Harley Medical Centre (THMC) .........whilst we are not liable for procedures performed by THMC we do offer appropriate after care for THMC patients and this includes the free removal of implants" Why have we been left to suffer all these years and never once offered any aftercare let alone free removal?by Hilary WatsonNovember 13, 2017
